Anna "Nancy" G. Hipp

November 7, 1934April 29, 2021

Anna (Nancy) G. Hipp (nee Guinan), passed away peacefully April 29, 2021 age 86 years.

Beloved wife of John F. Hipp, loving mother to Jack, Theresa, Joseph, Paul and Robert. Nancy is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Nancy was a remarkable, loving woman, who held a zest for life and family that shone through her light hearted, fun loving nature. She loved to laugh and make those around her laugh by being spontaneous and up for anything. She was light hearted, a natural leader, and had the unmatched ability to make everything feel special. Nancy’s joy for life, children and music was evident in her every day; planning holidays and events for her children and grandchildren, trips away with her husband, friends, and Sorority Sisters and working as a dedicated advocate for children during her many years in her role as Director of Special Education for Lower Moreland school system. She will be dearly missed by her family and those whose lives she impacted in her years of service to children. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA, 18929 to take place Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 10:30-11:30am. My son, Joseph, was one of Mrs. Hipp's students. She always was the best advocate for Joey, especially if it meant finding a different school to best fit Joey's needs. He flourished under Mrs. Hipp and we will always be grateful for her diligence and kindness with our children with special needs. Parents were always included in all decisions and she supported our PALM parent group. Mrs. Hipp's legacy will always be her special needs students and how they reward her compassion with their contributions to the world.
My condolences to the family on the loss of such a wonderful woman.

All my life as far back as I can remember, at all family gatherings when someone would yell “ Hey, Nanc, Nancy” three heads would turn towards the sound of that name. My Mom, My Aunt Nancy and me. If I could live my Life with as much dignity, strength, Purpose and Love as those two Women no matter what comes my way I’m gonna be OK! Thank You Aunt Nanc, I Love You....I’m already missing you. Love Nancy❤️

Those of us who knew Nancy at Lower Moreland know that she was a passionate advocate for special education students. She worked hard to make people understand the challenges they faced every day. She would always go the extra mile for them.

My condolences to her family. Rest in Peace Nancy.

Aunt Nancy
Our dear Aunt Nancy... loving... accepting... caring... fun. You made my childhood memories wonderful. Always went above and beyond to help out anyone she thought needed a hand. I always wanted to sit at the aunt’s and uncle’s table because you were there and I knew I would laugh all night. A great role model; I am so blessed to have had you in my life.
