Augustus Robert Boyd

Holland Pa - Augustus R. (Gus) Boyd passed away on Friday August 16th 2019 at the age of 90. He was born March 14th 1929 in Philadelphia PA to the late Romeo & Mary (Nardo) Boyd.

Gus graduated from John Bartram High School and served his country in the Army in Korea.

He was self employed for over 50 years and retired in 2016 when he closed his business County Line Custom Interiors. Gus loved to play cards, and watch the Philadelphia Eagles.

He was a long time member of the Warminster Rotary Club and served on the Board of Supervisors, Water Authority, and Planning Commission for Warminster Township.

Gus was predeceased by his mother, father, brother Romeo Boyd, sister Isabella (Boyd) Richards, daughter Barbara Ann (Boyd) Ryan (Gary) and great granddaughter Carsen Ann Boyd. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Anne (Gaynor) Boyd and sons Robert Boyd (Ruthann), Stephen Boyd (Mary) and daughter Karen Riley (Donald). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Rd

Southampton PA 18966 on Tuesday October 29th from 10:30 - 11:00am. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately.
