Barbara Ann Gallagher

Barbara Ann Gallagher, a longtime resident of Southampton, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the age of 81 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 29, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to parents Robert and Dorothy (Fritz) Bolton.

She graduated from William Tennent High School in 1962. Barbara dedicated her life to creating a loving and welcoming home for her family, always with a warm smile and a listening ear.

She treasured time with her family, enjoying trips, camping, road adventures and holidays together. Barbara was passionate about music, spending over 50 years in the Contemporary Music Group, was a founding member of Grass Roots bluegrass group and taught herself piano and guitar. Artistic and creative, she partnered with a friend to build a successful crafting business, Sweet Sentiments, and dedicated many hours to her crafts and craft shows. Warm, witty and generous, Barbara was a joy to be around and formed lasting friendships easily. She was always ready to help others, leaving those who knew her with fond memories of her kindness and friendship.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Franklin S. Gallagher; she is survived by her sons Frank (Catherine), Michael (Heather) and Kevin (Tania); her grandchildren Heather (Shane), Matthew, Jocelynn, Kevin, Aiden, Logan, Riley and Lanna; and her great grandchild Teddy.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or National Multiple Sclerosis Society may be made in her memory.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home Inc., 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
