Carol, you were such a genuine and beautiful friend and I miss you greatly already. Yesterday I found the folder with the many letters and pictures you wrote and sent starting 20 years ago when we "met" through our beloved setters. When reading through some of them again, it was bittersweet, but also brought back so many wonderful memories of the friendship we shared through the love of our dogs. You loved your family and friends and wrote often of having breakfast with Dave and Karen, or visiting John , and your Mom, who you lovingly cared for in her later years. We sent gifts to each other over the years, and so many treasures I have all around my home reminding me of our friendship and the deep love and compassion we have had for our dogs. I hope you are smiling and laughing with your parents and surrounded by all the setters you loved so much - Scarlet, Tracy, Jill, Tory, Devon, Faith, Shane, Mick and Kylie. I hope you know that Cassidy, Abby, Kelin, Delaney and Shanin are all being loved and taken care of by your family and friends. Brave and strong and devoted and thoughtful and kind - I miss you my friend. Shanin is here and she will be loved and told every day about her Mom and how much you loved her . And I sure hope you knew how much you were loved by so many.

For Dave and Karen, John and family- we are grieving with you. Carol was a wonderful friend, who generously celebrated birthdays and Christmas with her time, as well as presents; we had many coffee and dessert sessions with pleasant conversation. Besides being a devoted daughter, sister and doggy mommy, she was a gifted digital photographer and shared those memories with us. We will miss her so much, taken too soon.

To the Evanetz family, so sorry to hear that Carol passed away. She was a great friend. We worked together many years ago at John Wagner and Sons. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend who loved her dogs as her children. She will be surely missed by all, especially her many FaceBook friends.

Rest now, Carol. Your struggle is over. You were a devoted daughter, beloved sister, and wonderful friend. I am sure the fur friends that have gone before you are waiting for you at the rainbow bridge. Together you will cross into eternal peace. I will miss you. Godspeed.
