Carol Ann Phelan

Born and raised in Mahanoy City, PA, Carol later moved to Philadelphia, where she earned a banking certificate from Brown University. She went on to enjoy a long and successful career as a vice president at PSFS Bank.

Carol was a woman of many talents and interests. She had a passion for candy making, knitting, gardening, and needlepointing, and she delighted in the occasional trip to PARX Casino. Generous by nature, she was known for her compassion and kindness, supporting numerous charities throughout her life, including several veterans’ organizations.

Her love for animals was especially evident - Carol fostered and cared for many pets over the years, each one receiving her special attention and affection.

She will be fondly remembered as a warm, giving, and loving presence whose generous spirit touched the lives of many.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Phelan, and her brother. She is survived by her stepson, Matthew Phelan.

In her memory, contributions may be made to your local SPCA or to Bristol House Memory Care of Warrington, PA.
