I love my dad so much and I will miss him always. I know my dad is in heaven but my heart is still broken and I don't know if that will ever heal. My dad was the smartest, kindest and most loving father anyone could ever ask for. I MISS AND ALWAYS LOVE MY DAD.

I knew Chalie for many years. He was a good and kind man. He wanted the best for his boys Edward, Michael, Andrew and Elijah. He will be dearly missed from all of us.

Shawn, my heart goes out to you and your family. I know the pain and loss of one you love. There will never be a sunrise or sunset the same as before. But I will tell you, time is a friend...the pain eases, the memories become stronger and more dear. There are some mornings when he will not be the very first thing you think of. There will never be a day when you don't think of him however. But, hold tight to those memories, even the simplest of them, and treasure them forever. Know that your family loves you, and although it is not the same as yours, they feel your pain. God bless you and send you peace in your time of sorrow. Wendy Wickkiser Wassel

Charlie was such an amazing man...and there is no one who we were more honored to share our grandchildren with...As a pop pop...there were no limits to his energy and devotion to elijah, spencer, cooper and emery...The memories he created for the children will be remembered always. He will be surely missed and always in our hearts....

I don't know where to begin....I have known Charlie for 44 years. He was like a big brother to me. Bob and Charlie were always very close, and Charlie was a big part of my life through the dating years, and early married life. I will miss his wonderful sense of humor, his untimely wit, and most of all the warm, kind, sensitive man that he was. RIP big brother....have a few beers in heaven with Bob. I will love you always....
