Elizabeth Krauss

Elizabeth W. Krauss, 89 of Southampton Estates died peacefully Wednesday, June 4, 2014 with her family at her side. She was born July 4, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of Charles Norton Walters and Elizabeth Hunt (nee Hall) Walters. She graduated from High School in Philadelphia and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ursinus College. A homemaker she and her husband loved to travel. She taught Sunday School for many years at the First Presbyterian Church of Willow Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Krauss on February 16, 2012. She is survived by three children: John Krauss, Jr and his wife, Barbara of Warrington, PA; R. Norton Krauss and his wife, Diane of Ripon, WI and Pamela A. Krauss of Southampton, PA. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to ACTS Hospice, 812 N. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA with Funeral Services at 10:00 AM and interment to immediately follow at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA
