
Evelyn R. Pressler died on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at her residence. She was 78 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Roney Rose. Evelyn had been a Warminster resident for the past 49 years.
Mrs. Pressler was a retired division manager for Jade Industries in Southampton. She received an Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Sciences for Temple University. Evelyn operated her family business, the Rose Funeral Home in the Frankford section of Philadelphia for a number of years.
Evelyn was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed teaching and mentoring any who wanted to learn sewing. She made wedding gowns and communion outfits for many of her nieces. Evelyn was also an avid gardener and baker.
Evelyn was the beloved wife of Edwin D. Pressler for 56 years. She was the devoted mother of Edwin E. Pressler (Karen) of Warminster, John R. Pressler (Kelly) of Hatboro, and Tara Saresky (Mike) of Roslyn. She was the loving grandmother of Katie, Eddie, Michael, Natalie, and Johnny. She is also survived by her brothers Robert and William Rose, and her sister Jean Warfield.
Family and friends will be received from 12 Noon to 4 PM on Saturday, September 26th at the Roman Delight, 255 E Street Rd, Warminster, PA 18974.
