George Victor Chism Jr.

George V. Chism, Jr. died on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Jefferson Hospice in Warminster. He was eighty-three years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George V. and Mildred Chism. George was a longtime resident of Southampton. Mr. Chism was a retired employee of Bell of Pennsylvania. He had worked for Bell for over thirty years. He was a graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia. George was an Army veteran.

George was the beloved husband of Joan H. Funk Chism for sixty years. He was the devoted father of Richard Chism of Doylestown, Joanne McNulty of Jacksonville FL and Nancy Landis (Christopher Aubertin) of Hatfield. He was the loving grandfather of Carlos, Zachary, Daniela, Shae, Andrew and Timothy.

Relatives and friend are invited to call from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA. His memorial service will be at 8 PM. George's internment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Rd, New Hope, PA 18938.

George helped me find my way around the streets of Orleans,France when I arrived in 1956.I was company duty driver & narrow streets were challenging .
Enjoyed keeping contact via e-mail all these years & will miss hearing from George.
