

James C. Kerry, a long time Levittown resident passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 81 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Jim was born on February 28, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pa.
He was the son of the late John Kerry Jr. and Ida K. Waysz Kerry, brother to the late John Kerry and George Kerry. Jim was the beloved husband of Anne Luithlen Kerry for thirty-eight years before her death in 1993. He was the devoted father of Suzanne Bright (Richard) of Fairless Hills, Nancy Philipp (Robert) of Levittown, Ruth McQuade-Tracy (Neal) of Levittown and the late James C. Kerry II. He was the loving grandfather to 6 grandsons and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a niece and two nephews.
James was both an Army and Pennsylvania National Guard veteran and a graduate of Williamson College of the Trades. He was an avid golfer and bowler for most of his life and was a member of the United States Bowling Congress and Ocala Florida Lions Club. Mr. Kerry was a retired plant and project engineer for food processing plants in Philadelphia.
Mr. Kerry’s memorial service and interment will be private.
