

Janet Patton Hacker, died on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Brookdale Northampton Manor in Richboro. She was 85 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Mair Patton. Janet had lived at Brookdale Northampton Manor for the past 5 years and previously had resided in Feasterville since 1965.
Mrs. Hacker was a homemaker. She was a retired employee of Strawbridge and Clothier (later Macys) in the Neshaminy Mall.
Janet was a member of St Stephen's Lutheran Church in Feasterville. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with her family and babysitting her grandchildren. Janet enjoyed knitting and making afghans. She had a green thumb and gardening was her specialty.
Janet was the beloved wife of Frank W. Hacker, for 58 years before his death in 2009. She was the devoted mother of Jane H. (Mark) Monkhouse of Holland and Joan (the late Wayne) Kroeger of Warminster. She was the loving grandmother of Melissa (Bob) Lynch, Matt Monkhouse, Kim (Matthew) Bailor, and Keith (Daniela) Kroeger; she was the great grandmother of Jack Lynch and Brody Bailor. She is also survived by 2 nieces, Joyce Lockwood and Janice Merkel.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday June 22nd from 9 to 11 AM at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Road & 2nd Street Pike, Southampton. Her service will follow at 11 AM. Her interment will be in Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge.
