Joan H. Chism

Born in Philadelphia, Pa to James and Alice Funk, Joan was a resident of Southampton and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel parish for 57 years. She was proud of her job of 20 years at ETC in Southampton until her retirement.

Joan gleefully left the cold of Pennsylvania, with her trusted sidekick Nigel, for the warmth of Florida in March of 2022.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, George V. Chism and her son, Richard G. Chism.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Joanne McNulty and Nancy Landis (Chris Aubertin), daughter-in-law Rosa Chism and her six grandchildren: Carlos (Christina), Zachary (Jerilyn), Daniela, Shae (Dominick), Andy, Tim, and her brothers, Terry Funk (Terri) and Larry Funk, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation hour will be Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA. Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA, with a celebration of life luncheon following burial.
