Joaquim Z Carreira (Jack) passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026 at the age of 97. He was born on December 1, 1928 in Alcobaca Portugal. After graduating he went on to open his own salon and followed his passion as a stylist. On July 12, 1970 he and his family made the move to the United States and became citizens. A new passion of art came later in life in which he dedicated most of his time after retirement to his oil and water color paintings. Joaquim will be remembered for his quick wit, kindness, and his deep dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather.
Visitation will be held at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd ·, Bensalem, PA 19020, on July 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ephrem Church from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, on July 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:20 pm.
