

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, co-worker, and friend. Kathy was cherished by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Kathy was born on May 15, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Joseph J. Greenwood and Florence E. Greenwood (Unick). She was also predeceased by Joseph P. Mahoney (father-in-law), Carmella R. Mahoney (mother-in-law), Joseph J. Mahoney (brother-in-law), and James P. Catalino (brother-in-law).
Kathy’s primary passion and love was for her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments. Kathy could often be found cheering on her grandchildren at sporting events or crocheting blankets with love for family and friends. Kathy enjoyed bowling, musicals, watching the Phillies, and spending time with family and friends. She cherished her childhood memories at the lake house. She attended Cardinal Dougherty High School for 3 years, and then moved to Richmond, VA with her parents and graduated from St. Gertrude's High School. Kathy was a dedicated employee at H & R Auto Radio Services in Warminster for 23 years and retired in 2020. She was loved by her co-workers who described her as bubbly, funny, and genuine. She was a member of the Centennial Station community for 9 years and enjoyed swimming and bingo with her friends.
Her legacy will live on through her husband John A. Mahoney, her sister Mary E. Catalino, her brother Joseph J. Greenwood, her children John J. Mahoney, Michele Mahoney (Douglas Koehn), and Jacqueline F. Ward (Kevin), and her beloved grandchildren Ryan J. Ward, Shaelin E. Mahoney, Nicole E. Ward, and Chelsea K. Mahoney. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
Despite anything going on in her own life, Kathy always uplifted yours with humor, true love and caring, and a positivity that was infectious. She was a true example of grace, selflessness, and humility. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kathy’s family will receive friends and family on Saturday, March 15th from 10am until her Funeral Mass at 11am at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Rd, North Wales, PA 19454. Her interment will be private.
Any flowers should be sent to the Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church on Saturday, March 15th, arriving by 9:30AM.
