They first met Mr and Mrs Hecht known to me as Omi and Opi in 1987 as the girlfriend to their son Kurt. From day one they embraced me and made me feel special. In April of 1989 Kurt and I decided to be married. My father fell on hard times caught up in a real estate mess that drained him financially. He was left with little to contribute to our wedding celebration. Omi and Opi expressed and did not hesitate and in fact were delighted to step up and provide above and beyond for all of us. There was no humility only graciousness. As a couple and my mother and father-in-law this became known to me as a steadfast way of life . They were always inviting they were always accommodating and always celebrating. They were two peas in the pod ! They were a couple that always felt the same about making people feel special and welcome. This is a very sad time and I extend my condolences to the entire Hecht family . I hope that you always fill your heart with the memories shared with him and realize that he would only be sad if we were sad. I know that if he could have he would have told us to celebrate the memories while we experience the sadness of missing him... 💔
💞. Always and Forever💖. Yours Truly, Nancy Hecht

We are so very sorry for this loss. But we also are honored to have been given the opportunity to have met such a magical personality that made you smile and feel welcomed. We always will remember the “captain” at the helm of a boat taking us to adventures shelling making the day special for all. Fair winds and following seas on your new adventure, we will remember and think of you often when a champagne bottle is opened.
