Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Madeline was the only child of Oliver and Margaret Perry. She spent most of her life in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, before eventually retiring to sunny Florida.
Throughout her remarkable 95 years, Madeline found joy in the simple things that made life special. She loved to dance, where she could truly let go, enjoy herself, and let her spirit shine bright. She loved shopping, taking trips to Wildwood, New Jersey, and creating countless cherished memories there with her family. She also enjoyed taking life slow. Although she would proudly say she “never napped,” she was happiest and most content relaxing in her favorite recliner at home, surrounded by the people she loved.
Some lovingly referred to Madeline as “the neighborhood mom,” because she had a way of becoming a mother to everyone who entered her life. She was a loving, caring, and kind woman inside and out. Her smile and laughter could light up any room, and simply being in her presence was a true blessing. She had a beautiful way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and cared for, and the memories she created with those around her will be treasured forever.
Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Margaret Perry; Steve Arsenich Sr; Bernie Geiger; and her beloved dog, Bullet.
Madeline is survived by her children, Stephen (Mary Ann), Mark (Debbie), and Cindy (Jack); her grandchildren, Stephen (Jami), Bryan, Mark (Caitlin), Julie, Zachary, and Jenna; and her eight loving great-grandchildren, who brought her endless love and joy.
Madeline will be deeply missed, but her laughter, warmth, and loving spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
