

Marjorie Sarah Hermann died on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Ann’s Choice in Warminster. She was ninety-six years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Minnie (Stoudt) Annan. She lived at Ann’s Choice for over 13 years and had previously been a longtime resident of Feasterville.
Marjorie was the beloved wife of Edward C. Hermann for forty-nine years before his death in 1994. She was the devoted mother of Edward C. Jr. (Carolyn) of Browns Mills NJ, Raymond A. of Lansdale PA, Dr. Linda M. Hermann (Clarence) of Lebanon PA and Janet L. Dougherty (Mark) of West Chester PA. She was the loving grandmother of Laura Sourwine (Rob) and Lynne Farrell (Shawn); great grandmother of Dylan and Alyssa Farrell and Sarah and Julia Sourwine. She is also survived by her brother Thomas Annan (Jo) of Glenn Mills and her sister Ethel Bellows (Dave) of Warminster. She was also predeceased by three sisters: Elizabeth Shaw, Elaine Wilson and Dorothea Maley.
Mrs. Hermann graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls with majors in French and German languages, studied Latin and attended Pierce Business College for secretarial certification. A retired executive secretary, she had been an employee of Hull Corporation and F. J. Stokes Company.
Marjorie proudly served for 2 years in the Women's Army Corps during WWII and was a member of the Bux-Mont Women Veterans and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.
Mrs. Hermann was a member of the Norris Square United Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia and the Feasterville Community Reformed Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ, gardening, sewing, computer and art. For many years she competed in ballroom dancing with her husband, the love of her life. She was an active volunteer at Ann’s Choice, sang in the Ann’s Choice Chorus and the Merrytones, and also stayed active with the Choice Dancers, the Red Hats, at the fitness center and other clubs there.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 10 to 11 AM at the Chapel of Ann’s Choice, 30000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974. Her funeral service commences at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
