Mary Elizabeth Harkins Greenstreet

Mary E. Greenstreet died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at her son’s residence in Manahawkin, NJ. She was 85 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel J and Mary France Harkins. She was a Little Egg Harbor, NJ resident for over 21 years and had previously lived in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Greenstreet was a homemaker. She was family oriented and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary was a communicant of St. Theresa Parish in Little Egg Harbor and a former member of the Maternity BVM Parish in Philadelphia.

Mary was the beloved wife of Robert L. Greenstreet for 61 years before his death in 2009. She was the devoted mother of Robert L. Greenstreet, Jr. (Donna M.) of Levittown, PA, Mary M. Bova (Barry Sr.) of Bensalem, PA., Susan Goodman (Steven) Hillsboro, NJ, James Greenstreet (Annie Marie) of Manahawkin, Patricia Rigous (Joey) of Warrington, PA, and Joan Toohey (Daniel Sr.) of Philadelphia. She will be sadly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Laura Brown of Doylestown and her brother Daniel Harkins Jr. of Fleming Island, Fl."

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday, March 3rd at the Maternity B.V.M. Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115. Her Funeral Mass will be at 10 AM. The interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
