

Phyllis was a hairdresser by trade, but her greatest and most cherished role was loving and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. To know Phyllis was to love and respect her—she had a gift for making others feel valued and special. Her family was her pride and joy, and she created a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to share life with her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
Phyllis was born to the late Norma Doris Doneker and Walter Andrew Doneker on November 29th, 1955. Phyllis was raised by her mother and grew up as close as siblings with her cousins. She is survived by her cousin Sandra Gemmell, and preceded in death by cousins Dawn Miller and William Doneker, Sr. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Richard Allen Evanson Sr. Phyllis leaves behind her 2 children and spouses Richard Allen Evanson Jr. and his wife Alyson Evanson and Dawn Gehret and her husband Matthew Gehret. Phyllis leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Cassidy, Collin, Ricky, Hannah, Hayley, and Bruce, and one great-grandchild, Zachary.
Phyllis dedicated her entire career as a talented hairdresser at Acts Retirement Communities, where she touched the lives of countless people with her skill and kindness. Beyond her profession, Phyllis had a passion for collecting Barbies and playing BINGO—activities she loved sharing with her family and friends. Phyllis also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Daisy. The two were inseparable, and Daisy will deeply miss the constant companionship and love they shared.
