
Raymond W. Zweitzig went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 9:45 p.m on Sunday September 14. He was a resident of Southampton for many years. He was married to Betty I. Flysher for 68 and 1/2 years, had two sons, Robert and Jerry who are both in the pastoral ministry. He fought for his country in the Second World War from 1944 to 1946. He faced combat with the Germans through Sicily and Italy and was a war hero who secured a German command center and captured a German flag along with important documents.
He was a wonderful Father, Coach, member of the Boards of Bethanna, Christian Missionary Fellowship and was a leader in inner city missions with Helping Hand Mission. He served as Sunday School Superintendent, Elder and in other offices in Berean Bible church and had a deep love for the Word of God. He is survived by his two sons, two daughters-in-law, Ruth and Deborah, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his service at 11 at the Wm.Rowen Grant Funeral Home in Southampton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berean Bible Church in Philadelphia or the Horsham Bible Church.
