Robin Lynn Edwards

December 4, 1954July 23, 2020

Robin Lynn Edwards (Weiger) passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her home with her husband by her side. She was 65 and recently retired.

Originally from Reading, PA, Robin spent her early years with her parents and her sister Carol in Feasterville, and met her husband, Ronald, while she was attending Neshaminy High School. They were married in 1973 and moved to Perkasie. Robin worked in the dental field both as a dental assistant and receptionist. In 1978 they moved to their home in Warminster and began to raise their three daughters, Laurie, Jennifer and Becky. She became a stay-at-home mother until their daughters were in school.

Robin and Ron were happily married for nearly 50 years. They described one another as the “love of my life” and they supported one another through everything, including Ron’s battle against Parkinson’s Disease. Life was seldom easy, but their many challenges didn’t dim her passion for him and the family they created.

Robin was known for her warmth, her humor, her hugs and “love pats,” and her ease in making friends everywhere she went in life. Her greatest joy was her family and she often shared funny anecdotes about the people she loved to anyone who would listen.

Robin excitedly embraced her days as a Mom Mom when Laurie and her husband Carl had Samantha, Katelyn and Claire, Jenny and her husband Jerry had Brianna and Alyssa, and Becky and her husband Justin had Evan and Reece.

Robin suddenly left the world without a chance to say goodbye, but everyone who knew her was touched by her ways and tickled by her humor and spunk. She will be forever missed and we welcome the constant reminders of how she loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North and Southampton Reformed Church at 1380 Bristol Road, Churchville, PA 18966. A memorial fund has been established in her honor that will be used to fund projects that she was passionate about in the church.

We invite all family and friends that loved Robin to attend a Celebration of Life which will be held at a later, safer date. We want to celebrate her life the way she lived it, welcoming everyone to gather close and to share hugs and laughter without restraint. Please reach out to us with your email address so nobody is missed when we are able to share the details of that gathering.

I was friends with Robin through Jr High and High School. She was always so nice and happy. I loved her long red hair. We always said that she was the tall girl and I was the short one and we laughed. We didn’t keep in touch after we graduated but I will always have a fond memory of Robin. She touched my heart. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Robin was a loving, generous lady with a wicked sense of humor. We worked together for many years, and shared many good times and some not so good times. But through it all we laughed, my God did we laugh. I will certainly miss her. We were supposed to have lunch together to celebrate her retirement, then Covid happened. I deeply regret that we never got to do it.

I worked with robin over 10 yrs ago. She was such a hard worker. She was so easy to talk to, and I loved her many stories. She loved her family she spoke so much about them, I felt as if I knew them personally. I recently spoke to robin , I’m so glad I did. May she rest in eternal peace. I’m so sorry . I can only imagine what a great loss this is.

My heart just breaks... I remember me and Patty were obsessed with her as children brushing her long red hair as long as she would let us she would have us for sleepovers and we were ecstatic .. So many family picinics in Grandmoms back yard. When Tommy Patty and I lost our mother she did her best to make sure we knew we were loved... I love you all so much and my heart is deeply feeling this great loss for you all as well as myself..

I do not have words to describe a loss as great as this. I loved your mom and always enjoyed spending time with her. She always brought a smile to my face. Even though she is no longer here with us physically, her spirit and love will carry on , thru her children and grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be missed by many. Please accept my families condolences and prayers at this time. I will miss you my dear friend and think of you often! With love and sadness. Arlene coffey
