Surendrabhai M. Patel died on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Oakwood Health and Rehab Center in Philadelphia. He was 83 years of age. Born in Nadiad, Gujrat State in India, he was the son of the late Maganbhai and Shantaben Patel.
Surendrabhai immigrated to the US in 1999. He had been a Philadelphia resident since he came to the US.
Mr. Patel had been in the agricultural business in India. He was an avid reader and a cricket fan.
Surendrabhai was the beloved husband of Jayaben S. Patel for 58 years. He was the devoted father of Nimish Patel of India, Nita Patel of India, Rita Patel of Philadelphia, and Jignesh Patel of India. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. His cremation will follow at the Delaware Valley Crematory.
