Susan Beck Knapp

Susan Beck Knapp, 84, of Bucks County died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Abington Hospital. Born January 19, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of Charles and Alice (nee Caveny) Beck. She was a graduate of Cheltenham High School and Hood University. She worked as a bookkeeper, retail sales person and as an assembly line worker for an electronics manufacturer. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Knapp, Jr. She was the loving mother to two sons: J. Stephen Knapp (Charlotte) of Richboro and David Knapp (Maureen) of Hatboro, PA; also by two daughters: Robin Preis (Stephen) of Ardara, PA and Amy Yeutter (John) of Langhorne, PA. and by Nine Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Episcopal Church of the Redemption, 1101 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Per her request no one is to wear black and the men are to wear red neckties. All are invited following the ceremony to join the family in the undercroft of the church for a fellowship luncheon. Private family interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
