formerly of Doylestown and Churchville, died Sunday, March 2, 2014. He was 94.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Marion Nelson Barratt. Tom is survived by a son, Thomas H. III and wife, Linda of Carversville; and two daughters, Janet Yocom and husband, Jim of Pottstown, and Shirley Heidenfelder and husband, Alan of Doylestown. Tom was the beloved "Wawa" (grandfather) to six grandchildren and "GG" (great grandfather) to six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Young, and will be sadly missed by his longtime friend and companion, Barbara Matybell of Stockton, N.J.
Tom was a retired supervisor at PECO where he worked for more than 39 years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of the Frankford Lodge No. 292 F&AM, and a member of the American Legion Houston Post No. 3.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service Monday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Rd., Southampton. The family will greet friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
