William T, Guida died on Friday, December 13, 2019 at his residence. He was ninety-three years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Elizabeth Guida. William was a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area.
Mr. Guida was a retired draftsmen. He was the co-owner of Sprinkler Design Service in Philadelphia. He was also a former employee of Fire Protection Industry in Bensalem.
William was veteran of WW II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He saw combat in the Philippines and was awarded the Bronze Star. Bill was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed golf. He loved his cat, Caley. He had a great artistic talent and appreciation of art.
William was the beloved husband of Barbara Freemer Guida for thirty-three years. He was the devoted stepfather of Debi Geissler (Randy), Michael Ursino, Karen Katzmar (Lou) and Robert Ursino (Claudine). Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his service at 11:30 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. Please assemble at the administration building no later than 11:15 AM.
