

Madeline A. Cipollone, 79, of Meriden and formerly of Southington and Narragansett, Rhode Island, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Leonard A. Cipollone Jr. for 58 years.
She was born July 13, 1944 in New Britain, the daughter of the late William F. and Petronilla (Angelillo) Wilkins.
Madeline was an Adult Services Specialist at Southbury Training Center until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.
Madeline will be dearly missed by her son, Leonard A. Cipollone III and wife Michelle of Meriden; three grandsons, Nicholas, Matthew and Michael; two sisters, Sandy Tarro and husband Bruce of North Port Fl. and Charlotte Henlin of Bonita Springs Fl. and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard Jr. and son William Cipollone.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, Sept. 8th at 10:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St., Plantsville for a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, Sept. 7th from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
