Mr. Phelps was born October 11, 1951 son of the late William and Al-Mary Phelps.
He is survived by his sister, Marie Phelps Clemmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, including his special friend Kimberly Stewart.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the Peacock - Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel. The family will have visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will also be receiving visitors at the home of his sister, Marie Phelps Clemmons, at 266 Pine Lake Road, Boiling Spring Lakes, North Carolina, 28461.
