

He was born March 15, 1939 in Monessen, PA and raised in Belle Vernon, PA.
He received his education from the Ohio State University and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and General Theological Seminary in New York City.
A retired Episcopal priest, Barry was ordained in 1966 as deacon priest of the Episcopal church in Rome, New York and served parishes in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Virginia and California. He was a officer of the National Network of the Episcopal Clergy Association and a member of the faculty of the Interim Ministry Network responsible for the training of many clergies of various denominations of the ministry including Jewish rabbis.
Barry also served in various corporations in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut as an Organizational Development Manager and founded a Human Resources Development and Consulting Company serving the tri-state area.
While in retirement, Barry and his wife Nancy loved to travel both domestically and internationally, visiting six continents, and spending many memorable years at their vacation home in Kauai, Hawaii.
He is survived by two sons, Gregory of North Carolina and Andrew of Virginia; two granddaughters, Meghan and Jessica of Virginia; and a sister, Nancy Miller McKenna of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reverend Ann Stoughton Charles; and his parents, Charles and Olga Jurnak Miller.
