Mr. Barker was born August 18, 1956, son of the late Belvin J. Barker, Sr. and Jacqueline Gilley Barker. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and had been a police officer. Mr. Barker owned and operated a radio sales and repair business.
Mr. Barker is survived by his wife, Ping Liu; two children, Natasha Byrd and husband Blake, and Belvin J. Barker, III; a grandchild due to be born in June; and six siblings, Barry, Bruce, Pam, Denise, Lisa, and Cindy.
In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held.
