

She was born on July 13, 1950 in Glen Rock, New Jersey, daughter of Ernest and Edna Hayes. She spent her childhood in Parsippany, NJ, graduating from Parsippany HS in 1968. She was active in numerous sports, activities and student government, receiving the title of Miss Parsippany and Senior Class President. She attended West Virginia Wesleyan and Montclair State, earning a BS in Health and Physical Education. She taught at Parsippany Central Junior High School. Beverly married Douglas White in 1976 and resided in Fredon, NJ until they relocated to St. James in 2014.
Fiercely loyal and caring, Beverly loved the beach, reading, travel and spending time with friends and family. She was a life-long athlete, either participating in sports or cheering on her favorite teams. She will be dearly missed for her thoughtful nature, sharp wit and delicious deviled eggs.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Douglas White; four children, Jeffrey White (Kate), Bradley White (Amie), Douglas White (Joy), and Jeanne McCoy (Ellison); and six grandchildren, Avery White, Austin White, Abilene White, Brooks McCoy (Claire), Ford McCoy and Mary Ellison McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant granddaughter, Lucy White.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
