Blanche Valborg McColgan

Blanche Andersen Splendorio McColgan, daughter of the late Peter Gordon Andersen and Valborg Wilhelmina Nielsen. Loving and caring wife to two husbands Frank Splendorio, married for 46 years before his death, and then she married her second husband CDR. John McColgan they were married for 13 years before he passed. Born and raised in Hensonville, NY, then after marriage, she lived in New Jersey, Virginia and North Carolina.

Survivors include her three children, Frank Splendorio and wife Deborah, Christianna Gilbertsen and husband Ed, and Mike McColgan and wife Debbie; nine grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Tommy, Jenny, Jeanne, Warren, Levi, Tracy and Glenn; Seven great-grandchildren, Eliza, Camden, Jerrymiah, Grace, Briana, Quintin and Annie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Frank Splendorio and John McColgan; a daughter, Valerie Jackson; and six brothers. Victor, Frederick, Nielsen, Albert, Paul and Leon.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
