

Bruce was born on June 15, 1950, to the late Charles and Wilma Foster. His life was a testament to his passion for wildlife and adventure. For 37 years, Bruce dedicated himself to the care and study of amphibians and reptiles as a herpetologist at the Central Park Zoo and the Bronx Zoo. His expertise and love for frogs, toads, and crocodiles made him a respected figure in his field.
In his later years, Bruce embraced a new adventure, working as a lead tour guide at The Adventure Kayak Company in Southport. His enthusiasm for kayaking and sharing the beauty of the natural world with others brought joy to many.
Bruce is remembered for his unwavering dedication to his work, his adventurous spirit, and his kind heart. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of passion for both wildlife and nature. He is survived by his friends and a daughter who will miss him dearly.
