Dana Lee Stutz

Dana was born May 15, 1955 in Davidson County, the son of Billy Lee Stutz and Joyce Pearl Stutz. He was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ in Lexington, the Yaupon Beach Fire Department and the Denton Fire Department. Dana had worked at Pugh Auto Crushing in Welcome and with his wife at Pat’s Cleaning Service. Dana enjoyed sports; his favorite teams were the UNC Tarheels, the New England Patriots, and the Atlanta Braves. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother Michael Stutz.

Surviving is his wife Patricia Stutz, his father Billy Lee Stutz, a sister Tara Durham and husband George, a niece Patricia Stutz, a nephew Corey Kearns, and a cousin Eddie and Sandy Sheets.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in the Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel. The family will have visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. A graveside committal service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Yaupon Beach Fire Department, 1100 Caswell Beach Road, Caswell Beach, NC 28465.
