

Daniel was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 6, 1986. He loved spending time on the beach with his children. Daniel had a very loving, giving, and nurturing heart. Daniel lived for his children. His daughters were his true loves in this world. He had the kindest heart and sweetest smile. He loved playing sports as a child from basketball to baseball and also football. Working on his trucks or dirt bikes always excited him. His life was short but that doesn’t take away from the lasting impact he left on all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his parents, Henry Vance Jenkins, Jr. and Lisa Reynolds Jenkins; two children, Abagail Jenkins and Taylor Jenkins; two sisters, Holly Jenkins Coates and husband Justin and Lindsey Jenkins; two nephews, Hunter Jenkins and Kaleb Coates; and two nieces, Brittany Shaw and Alex Coates.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry Vance Jenkins, Sr and Shirley Jenkins; and maternal grandparents, Howard Reynolds and Irene Reynolds.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Sonrise Baptist Church, 8375 River Rd., Southport, NC, 28461 in Southport. The family will have visitation from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church prior to the service. Flowers may be delivered to the church.
