David is survived by his wife, Sherry Brock, his son David William Brock of New Smyrna Beach Florida, his daughter Kristy Lee Atkins of Cumberland Virginia, and his grandson Wilson Lee Atkins of Washington DC.
David retired to Southport in 2015 after a long career as a contractor and a farmer. He was a veteran of the US Navy Submarine Service. He loved golf and the Southport community.
