Dennis was born November 15, 1939, the son of the late Anson and Nellie Gibbs. He was an US Air Force and US Navy veteran who continued to work for the government until fully retiring after almost 70 years of continued service.
He is survived by two sons; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and an extended family of nieces and nephews whom he thought about often.
Mr. Gibbs was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Doris Gibbs, who he is now finally back together with; as well as three brothers; and three sisters.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
