Dorothy was born June 30, 1936 in San Angelo, Texas, daughter of the late Leon and Alma Louise White.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ken M. Young, who was waiting in heaven for her time to be with him again forever.
She was a fantastic mother and grandmother, and was blessed by a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include her son, Michael Ross Young and wife Phyllis; her daughter, Sharon Kay Augoustides and husband Alexander; four grandchildren, Ross Young, Rachel Prejean, Victoria Augoustides, and Alexandra Augoustides; and a great-granddaughter, Madelyn Young. She will be missed greatly by all who loved her. May she rest in peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Peacock - Newnam & White Funeral Chapel.
