Edna Louise Griffin

Edna L. Griffin, 89 of Bolivia, passed away on January 17, 2015. Mrs. Griffin was born August 9, 1925 the daughter of the late Bessie and Wesley Brown. Mrs. Griffin was a charter member and the oldest living member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. She was a retired seamstress who loved yard sales. She will be missed dearly; she was one of a kind.

Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, JC Griffin, three brothers, a beloved sister, and a loving son-in-law Kenneth.

Surviving are her two sons, Leo, and Joe and wife Tina; three daughters Louise and husband Johnny, Jane, and Jennie and husband John; a loving brother Doug Brown; a total of 42 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren; a large extended family, her church family and her Pastor, Reverend Charles Drew.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service in Southport. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.
