She took immense pride in ensuring that all her children received college educations—a testament to her belief in the power of learning. At the age of 85, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by writing and publishing her autobiography in 2015.
Edna will be remembered as a loving matriarch who was vivacious, funny, strong-willed, and selfless. She was a role model to many—a leader who always thought of others before herself. Her family and friends will deeply miss her warmth and generosity.
