Mr. Roehrig was born March 4, 1943 in Queens, New York to the late Frank and Helen Roehrig. Frank worked for the Volvo Truck Corporation for 30 years and became director of sales. He volunteered with the Southport Maritime Museum and the St. James Fire Department. Frank was an amazing woodworker, he built furniture and toys for children.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Eileen Roehrig; five sons, John Sullivan and wife Lisha, Frank Roehrig and wife Kelly, Eric Roehrig and wife Maggie, Andrew Roehrig, and Joseph Roehrig; nine grandchildren, Madison Roehrig, Bayley Roehrig, Jack Roehrig, Jordan Roehrig, Brendan Roehrig, Graham Roehrig, Mary Roehrig, Joseph Sullivan, and Natalie Sullivan; a brother, James Roehrig; and a sister, Patricia Marco. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Roehrig and Carol Celento.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
