One summer in Harrisburg, Harold, my sister, Donald Bowles and I walked all over the hills and streams between his house and mine. Harold was a good friend, and we had a lot of good times that summer, just being young. My memory is of our good times together laughing and just being together. We remained friends throughout high school and then as so often happens....lost touch. Blessings to the family of my friend.

Harold and I met in 1978 when I was 18 and he was 29.....because of his friendly and sweet nature we quickly became good friends....not long after...he won my heart. We married the next year and out of our union came two wonderful sons of which I will always be thankful.
Our marriage, unfortunately did not last.
I will say as so many others.....he was a gentle free spirit and indeed never met a stranger.
Rest easy......as my Dad always kiddingly called him "catfish" due to his mustache..lol

I met Harold in 1971, when he worked downtown Charlotte. He and I became great friend and he was one of the most kind hearted, go lucky free spirits I had ever met. He was an asset to the Human race. I will miss my buddy and will always remember him. He will be greatly missed by all. He introduced me to people that are still in my heart today and I will ways be thankful for that. God Speed Harold into the arms of Jesus !
