Mr. Marley was born December 25, 1936 in Lenoir, North Carolina, son of the late Vernon Marley and Mabel Hodge. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from RJ Reynolds.
Survivors include his son, Harold (Crystal) Marley, Jr. ; two daughters, Elizabeth Marley Laws and Alissa Riley Marley; six grandchildren Michael Marley, Misty (Joey) White, Kayla (Randy) Hawkins, Lakyn Laws, Matthew Marley and Justin Laws; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Ann Marley, Jeannie Marley Corriher; Debra Hodge Hester and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Marley; brothers William "Billy" Roope, Kenneth Vernon Marley and Larry Carol Marley.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Miller Funeral Services in North Wilkesboro on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
