Mrs. Wilson was born April 7, 1949, daughter of Salema Ivey Simmons and the late Harry Herbert Simmons. She enjoyed working on Bald Head Island for many years and won Employee of the Month for her exemplary service. Mrs. Wilson also loved fishing and going to the lake and beach to spend her days in the sun. She liked to be on Facebook to keep in touch with her friends and family. One of her favorite past times was picking up her grandson, Colton from Wednesday night service at Harvest Fellowship and taking him to buy a milkshake. All who knew her, knew she was so easy to please and love. She liked company, had a good heart, and loved everyone. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother, who will be sorely missed.
Leaving to cherish her memory are her children; Jackie Ronald Cook, Jr. and wife Mary of Pikeville, and April Edwards and husband Jack of Supply; brother, Buddy Simmons of Boiling Spring Lakes; five grandchildren, Cassidy, Chris, Kayleigh, Dylan, and Colton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her longtime friends Lloyd McCausley and Cheryl Kemp.
