Chuck passed peacefully on Oct 9 2026. He was born in Chicago until retiring to Boiling Spring Lakes NC where he built his dream home overlooking North and Spring lakes. He was a quiet man with a quick sense of humor. He could fix anything with great carpentry skills & enjoyed making things for his children & friends. He was a copious note taker with a beautiful style of printing, an artful person. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping & State & National Parks. He was a lovely man!
He is survived by his companion of 25 years Judy Thuer and his children Michael (Carol) Wojda, Vicki (Gary Reese), Kathie (Jason Rychlik), William(Jeanne) Wojda . 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. And was loved by Judys children, Rebecca(Mark Lindner), Stephen Thuer, Susan(Rino Farina), Robert(Cheryl) Thuer, Elizabeth(Jeremy Hall) 11 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren.

An Open House will be held at the home on Sat Oct 17 from 12-2pm. Memorial donations may be made to Lower Case Fear Hospice.
