Jim, also known as Papa was born in Galesburg, Illinois on January 15, 1952, son of the late Paul and Geraldine Snyder. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran from 1970-1972. Jim served as Commander of VFW Post 10400 in Boiling Spring Lakes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia. He will be dearly missed by so many friends and comrads.
Jim was a loving husband to his wife Linda D. Snyder; a devoted father to Lisa Snyder, John Drago and Adam Kelley; “Grand Dad” to Brenna Snyder and Joey Drago; Great “Grand Dad” to Dustin Snyder; younger brother to Richard Snyder; and uncle to his nephews “Red” and Bob Snyder.
A tribute to honor Jim will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the VFW Post 10400 located on George II Highway in Boiling Spring Lakes.
