

Mrs. Walsh was the beloved daughter of the late Jay and Rita Julicher. She was deeply passionate about education and devoted more than 30 years of her life to teaching English as a middle school educator at Medford Memorial and South Brunswick Middle School, leaving a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues. Jane was a devout Catholic whose faith guided her life and her service to others.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, John Walsh; her three children, Dawn Funk and her husband Tom, Jennifer Welborn and her husband Matt, and Joe Bulakowski and his fiancée Carolina; and her six cherished grandchildren, Cameron Funk, Morgan Funk, Conner Byerly, Aiden Byerly, Parker Byerly, and Mia Jones. She is also survived by her brother, Hank Julicher, and her sister, Denise McCrossin.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walsh was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Julicher; and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Fagan and her husband Pete, and Sally Grasso.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport. The family will receive friends during visitation from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Peacock–Newnam & White Funeral Home in Southport.
