Jeffrey Dean Stiller
March 25, 1961 – July 9, 2018
Jeffrey Dean “Jeff” Stiller, 57 formerly of Southport, passed away on July 9, 2018.
Mr. Stiller was born March 25, 1961 in Southport to the late Kenneth Spencer Stiller and Gloria Lee Hewett Stiller. He was raised in Southport; he was a member of Southport Baptist Church having been baptized there. Jeff loved sports and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had played Little League Baseball for the Southport Sandfiddlers. Jeff was a graduate of South Brunswick High School where he played basketball, baseball, and was a standout player in football. Mr. Stiller had worked at Pfizer/ADM for 18 years.
Survivors include his son Nicholas Kyle Stiller; a daughter Samantha Nicole Barber and husband DJ, all of Charlotte; two brothers, Bonner Stiller and wife Julie, and Tim Stiller and wife Susan all of Oak Island; a sister Stephanie Stiller of Southport; nephews and nieces, Kristy Stiller Dail and husband Jason of Southport, Danielle Stiller de Herrera and husband Clay of Antigua, Guatemala, Bonner Lee Stiller, II of Leland, Christian Stiller of Oak Island, Jesse Stiller of Savannah, GA, Austin Stiller, and Katie Stiller both of Oak Island; great-nieces Summer Jo Cato, and Layla Stiller – Dail, a great-nephew Aiden Stiller; and 1st cousins Patti Gail Price and Mary Dee Harrington.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Southport Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Drew officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Northwood Cemetery.
