Linda Eileen Rachelle

Born November 22, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of August and Gloria Euring.

Linda went to school and became a teacher. She taught English for awhile then worked at Grumman where she met her first husband. After starting a family she ultimately choose to pursue her true passion which was art. Linda was an accomplished pen and ink artist. She spent years creating and selling her artwork in several shows all over Long Island. Throughout her life, Linda remained devout to her Catholic faith and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport where she made many friends.

She is survived by her son, Stanley Lee Rachelle and his wife, Eileen of Medford, NY; her daughter, Christine Garofalo and her husband, John of Patchogue, NY; three grandchildren Nicholas, Kristen and Julianna, as well as two great grandchildren Jayce and Lily. Linda is also survived by her brother Kenneth Euring and his wife Carol of Mattituck, NY and her sister Aline Odwazna and her husband William of Brooksville, FL. Along with her two nieces Carrie Carew of Fairfield CT. and Jennifer Dollar of Sayville, NY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children Stanley L. Rachelle.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
