Lynne Davee Barmore

She graduated from Jamestown High School and attended Penn State University. She traveled throughout the southeastern part of the country before settling in Long Beach (Oak Island), North Carolina. Lynne was an active, founding member of Oak Island Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She loved to sing with her choir friends, look at the stars, catch up with her close-knit neighbors, and snuggle with her cats, Chloe and Buddy. She often spent summers at the family homestead near Jamestown, Pennsylvania, where she attended Jamestown ECO Presbyterian Church.

Lynne is survived by her sister, Anne Kauffman of Greenville, PA; two brothers, Blaine (Sue) Myers of Pittsburgh, PA and Dale (Carla) Myers of Greenville, PA; a sister-in-law Judy Myers of Phoenix, AZ; as well as two nephews, five nieces, and their children. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Gerald Myers; a nephew, Paul Myers; and a brother-in-law, William Kauffman.

A memorial service will be held at Oak Island Evangelical Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 14 at 2 pm.
