Lyvonne was born May 6, 1939, daughter of the late Vester Mae Cone and Zettie Mae Whitley Cone. Mrs. Kirkman is finally home with Jesus, something that she had longed for. She was a member of Ridgecrest Worship Center in Rocky Mount. She loved flowers and taking care of them.
She is survived by her three daughters, Donna Bauman and husband Elmer, Rhonda Bailey and husband Roger, and Kim Dark; three grandchildren, Dale Bailey and wife Jennifer, Brandi Griffin, and Derek Bailey; four great-grandchildren, John Wayne, Nysia, Windsor, and Declan; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Kirkman; four brothers, Ray, Oliver, Wayne, and Thomas; and two sisters, Adjadene and Lucille.
A memorial service will be held at Waves of Praise Worship Center in Boiling Spring Lakes at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.
